OPERATION PROMOTE ORPHAN’S EDUCATION
The Buma Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to promote education for orphans in Cameroon. The foundation has embarked on a project to open a nursery and primary school in Balikumbat to achieve its objectives. The objective of the project is to provide quality education to orphans and children from low-income families in the region.
We can feed and clothe the underprivileged all the time which is great, but educating a child is the best thing we can do. It is our wish that orphans and underprivileged kids have access to education, a gift that can never be taken from them. In this light, Buma Foundation has as the mightiest project to establish an orphan’s nursery and primary school in the Balikumbat subdivision, Ngoketunjia Division of the Northwest Region of Cameroon. On 21st December 2020, the local administration granted full authorization which was evident by a written letter handed to the president of the Buma Foundation.
The school will offer a comprehensive curriculum that will include basic educational subjects such as mathematics, science, reading, writing, and social studies. Additionally, the school will provide students with a range of extra-curricular activities such as sports, music, and drama. These activities will help to provide a holistic education that is aimed at developing the student’s physical, emotional, and social well-being.
The school will be staffed by experienced teachers who have undergone extensive training to provide quality education. The teachers will be responsible for ensuring that the students receive the best possible education and will provide guidance and support to help the students achieve academic success.
The primary focus of the school will be on providing education to orphans and children from low-income families. The school will offer scholarships to students who are unable to pay the full cost of tuition fees. This will ensure that every child in the community has access to quality education, irrespective of their financial background. The first academic year has so far been a massive success.
In summary, the Buma Foundation’s project to open a nursery and primary school in Balikumbat was geared towards addressing the educational needs of the orphaned and low-income children in the region. The foundation believes that this initiative will help to make a positive impact on the lives of these children and will contribute to the overall development of the community.
