WE VISITED SOME ORPHANAGES TO GIVE THEM FREE MALARIA TESTS AND TREATMENT
The Buma Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to provide healthcare solutions and other essential services to underprivileged communities in Africa. In one of their recent projects, they visited several orphanages in Cameroon to offer free malaria testing and treatment to the children living there.
Malaria is a prevalent illness in Africa, and children are particularly vulnerable to the disease. The foundation recognized the importance of early detection and treatment of this illness and partnered with local healthcare providers to make it accessible to these children.
During the visit to the orphanages, the Buma Foundation team provided free malaria testing using rapid diagnostic kits. They also gave the children free medication to treat positive disease cases. The team also took the time to educate the children on the importance of regularly testing for malaria and how they can prevent contracting the illness.
